Collection: Bake N Play Cross Curriculum Cooking Classes for Schools and Nurseries

Our 5-week structured, hands-on cooking programme, Bake N Play – Little Chefs, brings storytelling and interactive food exploration into the classroom. It helps children build confidence, curiosity, and practical skills. Each session is for EYFS or KS1 pupils and helps them improve their fine motor skills through activities like mixing, kneading, and chopping. It also reinforces early math, science, and reading skills.

Beyond recipes, the programme fosters positive relationships with food, supports healthy lifestyle choices, and helps children overcome anxiety about unfamiliar foods. Working together on hands-on tasks helps kids stay focused, be strong, be independent, and have a "can-do" attitude. This makes sure that every child can participate, do well, and feel like they have accomplished something.

Our team fully manages the programme, which fits right into the school day with little effect on staff. It improves the curriculum, the health of the students, and their personal growth. Children learn new things, gain confidence, and develop a love of learning over the course of five weeks. This gets them ready for the next stage of their education.

Bake N Play – Little Chefs is a cross-curricular programme that makes the school day better while also helping kids grow, learn, and love learning for the rest of their lives.

Every school or nursery is unique, and so is our approach.
