Allergy Policy Bake N Play Club
Allergy Policy for Bake N Play Club
At Bake N Play Club, we are committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. We understand that allergies and food intolerances are a serious concern, and while we make every effort to accommodate individual needs, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. To protect the safety and well-being of all participants, we reserve the right to refuse a booking or withdraw a child’s place in our club if we believe we are unable to meet their dietary or medical requirements safely.
If a booking is made for a child with allergies or food intolerances without prior consultation, we reserve the right to cancel the booking at our discretion. Our priority is the safety of the child and the practicality of managing their needs within our club environment.
To ensure clarity, mutual understanding, and shared accountability, please read and sign our detailed allergy policy below:
1. General Allergy Awareness
- Our activities may involve handling food items, including but not limited to common allergens such as dairy, eggs, wheat (gluten), and soy.
- While we make reasonable efforts to limit cross-contamination, all participants should be aware that our facilities are not free from potential allergens.
2. Parent/Guardian Responsibility
- Parents/guardians must inform Bake N Play Club of any allergies or dietary restrictions their child has prior to participation.
- It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to provide detailed written instructions regarding allergy management and any required medication (e.g., antihistamines or EpiPens).
3. School/Organisation Responsibility
- If schools or external organisations are sending participants to our club, they must disclose any known allergies and take responsibility for ensuring appropriate precautions are taken.
- Bake N Play Club does not administer medication unless expressly agreed upon and provided with prior training/documentation.
4. Limitation of Liability
- Despite our best efforts, Bake N Play Club cannot accept liability for any allergic reactions or incidents resulting from undisclosed or pre-existing allergies.
- Parents, guardians, and schools must accept full responsibility for sending participants with allergies to our club.
5. Agreement to Responsibility
By signing below, parents/guardians and/or schools acknowledge and agree to the following:
- They have disclosed all necessary allergy information to Bake N Play Club.
- They accept responsibility for the child’s participation, including any potential allergic reactions.
- They understand that while Bake N Play Club will take reasonable precautions, the environment cannot be guaranteed allergen-free.
